COLORS
What color am I?
I’m holding on blue
What once saw golden
Twists to azure view
Night blankets the day
So the spark of the sun
Is covered by blue
Ending its run
All quiet below
Blue pushes within
Withdraws into self
Aquatinted like kin
Blue clashes with red
New fuses with old
Peculiar to witness
But nothing like gold
That pigment will fade
This much I know true
What color am I?
A shade different from blue
